Active with Arthritis

Active with Arthritis

Working in partnership with Cross Works Physiotherapy, this program is designed for those who have arthritis in the knee and/or hip who are experienced in exercise and want to take it to the next level. This class will be a step up from our GLA:D Program. If you've graduated from our GLA:D program, this new class is right for you! This class will require an assessment with a physiotherapist to ensure it would be appropriate. Classes will run twice a week for 6 weeks until a total of twelve exercise classes are completed.

Cross Works Physiotherapy Testimonials

A few weeks, I’ve completed a 6 weeks session of the GLA-D program at Cross Works Physio for a sore hip.

This place is the real deal: the staff is so friendly and eager to help, very kind and pleasant. Ryan you’re so kind and patient with all of your clients, i was most impressed . By the way I can walk 20 min + and no sore hip. Thank you for your professionalism , knowledge and kindness . I so appreciate you.

I also want to acknowledge how kind and wonderful Allison and Taylor were. Always service with a smile. I was impressed how they make an effort to learn your name and remembering it the second time they meet you. They made me feel welcome and special. Highly recommend the place.

I am a huge fan of Cross Works and I always look forward to my weekly appointments.  I see both Jenny and Ryan, and both physios are fantastic, kind and very knowledgeable.  What I like most about Cross Works is the patient experience.  At Cross Works, you are not just a number - your visit is not just a quick in and out.  The physios take the time to get to know you and your lifestyle.  They treat you for the FULL half hour (this is unheard of at most physios!)

I also love how Cross Works encourages an active lifestyle - you are not just given a stretch and told to rest - you are given exercises to help strengthen your body and get you back to where you want to be.  I could not recommend more!

I first met my one and only physiotherapist probably 15 years ago. I had tendinitis in both shoulders and she worked on me diligently until dry needling cured  my shoulder and arm pain.

I was pain free for years until arthritis entered my elderly life.  Once again,  she is thoroughly and patiently coming to my rescue.

I will always be grateful for her help
