You do not need an appointment to visit us. Our front office team can answer all your questions and take you on a tour of our facility.

What clothing should I wear for my consultation?
You can wear your regular clothes for your consultation. If you wish to stay and try some of the equipment afterwards, please bring your gym clothes.
What clothing should I wear in the gym?
Wear loose fitting clothing that you are comfortable in.
Do I need to have a change of footwear?
During winter months and inclement weather, you need a change of footwear. We take pride in keeping our facility clean, and ask for your help. Salt is hard on our equipment and wet shoes can create a slipping hazard for everyone. For safety reasons, sandals, flip flops or other open toed shoes are not permitted in the gym.
Do the change rooms have lockers and showers?
Our change rooms are equipped with lockers and showers. You will need to bring your own lock, towel and toiletries. Lockers are available for day use only.
Do you have a towel service?
We do not provide members with towels.
Is your facility wheelchair accessible?
We are wheelchair accessible on our main floor, through the main entry, during office hours only. The main floor includes cardio and strength equipment, studio and locker rooms, which are all accessible.
If I need help, can I ask at anytime?
We are here to help! We encourage you to ask questions anytime. We want you to be comfortable with your program, and with the equipment throughout the facility.
Are there security cameras around the facility?
There are interior and exterior security cameras located throughout the facility, to ensure your safety 24 hours a day.
When I start, do I get any training sessions?
All new members receive a consultation and up to three personal training sessions, depending on the length of membership purchased. A two-month membership includes one training session; three-month membership, two training sessions; a six-month or one year membership, three training sessions.
If I purchase a membership can I cancel it at anytime?
Members on a pre-authorized payment plan (direct withdrawal) need to provide 30 days written notice to our front office team.
If I purchase a full year membership and I go away on vacation, can I put my membership on hold?
Memberships can be put on hold for up to a minimum 2 weeks to a maximum of 3 months – twice during membership We are the only local facility that offers this perk to members.
Do you have day/week passes?
Day passes, 10 visit passes, and one, two, three and four-week passes are available, for purchase, and are a great way to try our facility or to include friends and family at the gym. Ten visit passes are also an easy way to enjoy our classes. If you have never been part of the Ironworks family, try us risk free for one week.
Do membership fees include classes?
Classes are included with membership. Programs offered in conjunction with other organizations will require an additional fee.
What are your busy times?
Our peak times tend to be 6-9 am, 12-1:30 pm, and 5-8 pm. Our members enjoy 24-hour access to our facility, which allows them to work out at their convenience.
I've never been to a gym before. What should I expect?
On your first visit, enter through the main entrance to the front office. You will be greeted and introduced to your trainer. Your trainer will take you into the gym for your consultation and/or your own personalized training program.
Do you disinfect your equipment?
We regularly disinfect our equipment. In addition, spray bottles and paper towel are located throughout the gym for members to wipe down equipment after use.
Where should I park when I arrive?
Parking is available in front of the building, around the side of the building off of St. Clair Street and on the road.
Which door should I enter through?
The front door is open during office hours. For after-hours access, use the door off the block building, which requires a key fob to enter.
